The Vesper or Vesper Martini is a cocktail that was originally made of gin, vodka, and Kina Lillet. The formulations of its ingredients have changed since its original publication in print, and so some modern bartenders have created new versions which attempt to more closely mimic the original taste.

- Casino Royale is the twenty-first film in Eon Productions' James Bond film franchise, the third Live-Action Adaptation of the very first James Bond novel, Ian Fleming's Casino Royale, and the second film to be directed by Martin Campbell in the series, introducing Daniel Craig as James Bond. It came out on November 16, 2006.
- Every James Bond fan knows this recipe as the first martini that Bond ordered in Ian Fleming's 1953 book, 'Casino Royale' (or the 2006 movie). Named after the seductive Vesper Lynd character, it is possibly the most famous drink order in history and extremely precise. Recreating the Vesper martini at home is easy, but it also requires.
- During Vesper's (clothed) Shower of Angst, Bond comes in to check on her. He sits down next to her, in the shower (probably ruining his tux) and asks if she's alright. When she says she can't get the blood (of a dead man) off of her hands, Bond sucks on her fingers (!) before asking her if she's cold. He adjusts the shower faucet to make the water warmer, and simply holds her. After Bond wins.

Quartet Records and MGM presents the first official vinyl reissue of Burt Bacharach’s timeless classic soundtrack for the 1967 James Bond spoof Casino Royale!

The infectious main theme performed by Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass is just the starting point of an epic comedy ride that includes such highlights as the unforgettable “The Look of Love,” sung by Dusty Springfield, or the epic fight music at the end of the film. Produced by record industry legend Phil Ramone, the original soundtrack LP offered selected highlights, expertly edited to showcase the best parts of the entire score. Thanks to the legendary sound quality of the stereo copies, this record became one of the most highly sought-after collectibles in the industry.

Casino Royale Vesper Shower Kits
Previously released on CD by several labels, including us, this edition is an important landmark for this legendary score, and we can proudly say that it now sounds better than ever. This new vinyl edition has been produced, restored and mastered by Chris Malone, rebuilding the score from the ground up. The soundtrack album has long been considered a cornerstone of the audiophile’s collection. Lauded by The Absolute Sound, the original Colgems release continues to remain in pole-position as the best sounding “popular” LP vinyl disc of all time.
Malone’s work has focused on addressing unintended technical anomalies (such as filling dropouts and covering analogue splices) rather than broadly applying a modern sound palette. He has eschewed dynamic range compression and retained the brilliance of the original recording. The first LP is a fully remastered reissue of the iconic original stereo vinyl, playing in all its splendor. The second LP contains all the unreleased material, in mono (music stems are still the only available source to date), but Chris has worked them in a very different mood from our previous edition, respecting the mono without adding any stereo reverb and carefully restoring each track in a very warm way.
